Sumitra Tripura, born on October 12, 1987, in South Tripura, is a highly accomplished professional and shareholder of BioBonz Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. She holds a B.A. from Women’s College, Tripura University, and an MBA in Human Resource Management from Swami Vivekananda Academy, West Bengal.
With over a decade of experience in institutional and capacity building, Sumitra currently serves as District Coordinator (Institution Building & Capacity Building) under Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission. She leads strategic initiatives to empower over 70,000 rural women through Self Help Groups (SHGs), forming 7050 SHGs, 233 Village Organizations, and 20 Cluster Level Federations. Her efforts have mobilized over ₹86 crore in community investment and earned national recognition.
Raised in a remote village with minimal resources, Sumitra’s journey from studying under clay lamps to leading district-level transformation exemplifies resilience and vision. Her grassroots leadership and administrative acumen are vital to the growth of BioBonz Pharmaceuticals.
